2) Discuss how you integrated your studies and experiences in the MS program in Educational Technology to enhance your skills in designing and developing digital-age learning experiences and assessments.
The MS program gave me a lot of good background ideas and information that I was able to take into my classroom on a daily basis. I am constantly using our online grading system along with email to keep in touch with staff, students and parents. I use the television occasionally to illustrate a point that happened years back in history. I also try and use things such as music, blogs and online videos to make information relevant and real to my students. By allowing students to use technology in lessons, I am helping them grow in the digital age where they are prepared for college, the work force and life beyond high school because they are familiar with the basic technological applications that are necessary to gain and keep jobs and go to school.
